The aim of our company is to give the best quality in all of our products. By this reason the woods used by us are from our surroundings and we buy the rest of the woods to suppliers that guarantee the maximum quality.
Some of the woods that we use to elaborate our walking sticks are:


CHESNUT (Castanea Sativa)

Features
This type of wood comes from three-years-old trees from our region ( La Selva, Guilleries, ...)

Properties
Its flexible quality makes it specially appropriate to bend.

BEECH WOOD (Fagus Sylvatica)

Features
It is found in Europe and North American. It probably is the most used, not only for its abundance but also for its ductility. Its colour is nearly white.

Properties
It is semihard wood, with a density of 630-700 kg/m^3

ASH (Fraxinus Excelsior)

Features
It comes from North America and Europe. It is also elastic. Its whitish colour with elongated streaks makes it easy to be recognised

Properties
It is a a semi-hard wood, with a density of 630-700kg/m3

ANATOLIA (Pterygota)

Features
It is also called KOTO. It comes from the east of Africa. It has a whitish colour.

Properties
Is relatively light: 600kg/m3

OLIVER WOOD (Olea Europaea)

Features
This type of wood is native of the Middle East. Nowadays, we find it in the Mediterranean area. Its yellowish colour with brownish streaks makes it bright and unique.

Properties
It is very appropriate for carving. It is a hard wood with a density of 900kg/m3

BUBINGA (Guibourtia spp)

Features
This type of wood comes Africa (Cameroon and Gabon). It has a reddish-purple colour with some very decorative purple streaks.

Properties
It is very hard. Its density is 850kg/m3

MONGOY (Guibourtia Ehie)

Features
This type of wood comes from Africa and has a brown colour that goes from brown-beige to brown-grey. It has little dark streaks that make it bright and beautiful

Properties
It is a resistant wood. Its density is 800kg/m3

EBONY (Diospyros Crassiflora Hiern)

Features
It is native of Ceylon, India and tropical Africa. It is black and it may somtimes have little dark brown streaks.

Properties
Its great hardness allows a perfect finish. Approsimate density: 1200kg/m3

COCOBOLO WOOD (Dalbergia Retusa)

Features
Originally from Mexico, Panama and northern Colombia. Red color with streaks of dark brown, purple or black.

Properties
Resistant and elastic, with a density of approximately 1350kg/m3.

CORAL WOOD (Erythrina)

Features
This type of wood comes from central and tropical Africa. It has a bright red colour.


Properties
Bright and flexible, with a density of 750kg/m3
